I'm kind of ripping off :devlevigelante: here, but I liked this sunset too much not to take a picture (or six, but this was the best one. A few I took while jumping on the trampoline. If I'd kept them, they could probably be uploaded as impressionist art ).
It was brighter when I took it, but the camera wouldn't oblige. Still this looks nice and ominous, so I'm happy with the turnout.
I just fished the blurry ones out of the recycle bin to show you at a later date.

oh my god, are those palm trees?
the only place i've ever seen a palm tree was in Florida. wow.
maybe if you didn't bounce on the trampoline while talkin it, it would have been brighter, but it's funny to tell people.

100% of the teenage population is sick of these fuggin sig trains. to both the 98 percent who have and are pissed and the 2 percent who suck, both of you, shush. givin' me a headache.
Um yeah, those are palm trees, or something similar. This is Australia; what do you expect? Temperature-wise, Brisbane (where I live) > Florida. To put that in perspective, the only times I ever go to the beach are in spring or autumn, because it's just too damn hot in summer to do anything outside. But I digress... so, palm trees. They're pretty common here. Both my neighbours have at least one each, and we had two before one had to be cut down. If you want I could take some snaps of the local flora and email them to you.
This was a non-bouncer. I was standing on the metal frame of the trampoline stretched as high on tiptoes as possible so I could see over the houses. But anyway, it was much less dark in reality. It probably came out this way because the camera's flash can't quite extend to the clouds. Jeez, that'd be a hell of a flash, wouldn't it?

like thunder in a storm. i'd probably be illegal because it'd be so powerful it'd probably temporarily *or perhaps maybe even permanently* blind you, and that wouldn't be good for the hundreds of people you affecting with the flash.
but ok, i'd like to see some "local flora".
what's the temperature there during your Sumer and what's it during the winter?

Ok well until January started, summer was going great. Temperature barely got above 30 C (about 86 F) and humidity was low. But now we're right in the thick of it, with humidity nearly through the roof and 12-3pm temps of around 35 C (95 F). This year isn't quite as bad as it has been in the past though, some days got to 40 C (104 F). On those days, you don't even leave the house. But they're pretty rare, in general.
As for winter, it's usually 15-20 C (59-68 F) in the middle of the day, and at night it's hardly ever below zero (32 F). I heard a few years ago that the year-round average for Brisbane is 26 C (79 F). Not sure if that's gone up since then or not.
Note: I may have screwed up the conversions. I don't think I have, but I'm using a formula I found online, so anything's possible.

wow, you could wear a t-shirt during your winter. wow.
in NY the weather is bipolar. during the summer, it's humid at like freakin 90 degrees F on average!(above 30 c according to yours)
but winter here is crazy, last year it snowed ALOT in nyc, which is pretty rare, i actualy got one school day (and in manhattan, they are DRIVEN like as if possesed to never close schools)
it can get close to 0 degrees F (below 0 C), but mostly, it's windy.
summer was really bad this last year. 20 people died of heat stroke because of a power outage in an area of New york. luckily, wasn't my area.

Scary stuff. I've never heard of anything like that happening here, except for the occasional dog locked in a car. The other problem with summer here is the storms and subsequent blackouts. It's pretty much a tradition now, and in summer these days I have a bunch of stuff that doesn't require electricity with which to occupy myself when we lose power. What sucks is that sometimes it's only one area that gets hit, and I live a few houses from the border. So often it's the case that we'll have no power for hours and hours, but fifty metres away there are people sitting back in their air-con, watching tv and having cooked meals. Bastards. Although my sister lives in that area, so if all else fails we can just commandeer her house.
