Now how the hell did that happen?

Wed Jun 24, 2009, 1:03 AM
Ok so a month or so ago I got my Xbox 360 back from the repair shop and it's been working great, except for an annoying buzzing sound that it didn't make before. Well a few days ago I was playing GTAIV and partway through the buzzing stopped. I didn't think anything of it until I ejected the disc, whereupon I spotted something odd. It was the yellow pre-owned sticker that used to be stuck to my copy of Saint's Row 2, which I haven't played in months! So this little piece of paper and glue has been banging around my 360 probably since March! For all I know it could have caused the problem with the 360 in the first place, but if that's the case why in the hell didn't they remove it when they fixed the bloody thing?

Seriously, that was the last thing I expected to see. But good news, the 360 runs perfectly quiet now.

They probably mistook it for the sticky tape and pieces of cardboard that the 360 is made from. ZING!

$10 says that next time I turn on my 360 now it will RROD because I hurt its feelings. :D

Purely out of spite. And my 360 has hit me with the red rings twice in two days, but it seems to be just as a warning when I do something stupid (first time something was blocking a vent, second I jiggled a cord while it was turned on).
